Saturday 27 May, the Chiaramonte Steri Palace of Palermo opened its doors to a wonderful catwalk of clothes and accessories made in Sicily. The University is fashionable is a project born of an important collaboration between the University of Palermo and Confcommercio, in order to valorize crafts and fashion creativity of the territory. The lights are pointing at the 2017 spring- summer collections of the most important Sicilian artisans and artists. Asymmetric cuts coupled without any apparent logic appear to us as a collage of textiles and colours that create a minimalist geometry game. There is nothing fortuitous for the Architect Daniela Vinciguerra and her brand Vuedu. Every cut and every fabric excess are the result of a precise idea and work. Art and Fashion in their pure form.
